Poems #No Pants Petey

I had somewhat of a re-birth after I turned 40, having met the love of my life, having come to terms with a colourful but testing past, and a lot of water under the bridge.

Inspired by my birth place, Perth.. my favourite beach, Swanbourne.. a place of wind, sun, sand, waves, water, birds, heat, cold, nature and nudists.

We all have a time in our lives when we come face to face with the lies we tell ourselves. This was about one of the moments.

An ode to my dear friend Chris, a natural born engineer, problem solver and an extremely humorous, kind and generous man. A hard worker, sensible all round good bloke, and someone who I know will always tell me the truth. Written under my first nome-de-plume Hunksten Proudfoot.
